These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DiscordBot. ("we", "our", "us").
2. Description of service

- A Discord bot that operates within your Discord server to execute configurations you define.
- A web dashboard at discordbot.co.uk where you create and manage those configurations.
- Optional Pro plan features available on a paid subscription basis.
The service is provided "as is" without any warranty of uninterrupted availability. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Eligibility

- Be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by Discord in your country.
- Hold a valid Discord account in good standing with Discord's Terms of Service.
- Hold the "Manage Server" permission on any Discord server you configure through the dashboard.
- Have the authority to agree to these terms on behalf of any organisation you represent.
By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
4. Your account
DiscordBot. uses Discord OAuth2 for authentication. You do not create a separate password with us. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Discord account.
- All activity that occurs under your account, including configurations created or actions taken through the dashboard.
- Immediately notifying us at support@discordbot.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use DiscordBot. to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm Discord server members.
- Configure the bot to distribute spam, malware, phishing content, or illegal material.
- Circumvent, disable, or attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or plan feature limits.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the service or its API.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, including data protection law.
- Use the service in a way that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without our written consent.
6. Discord compliance
Your use of DiscordBot. must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times. You are solely responsible for how your Discord server uses the bot. We reserve the right to remove the bot from any server that we determine, in our sole discretion, is in violation of Discord's policies or these terms.
7. Guild owner responsibilities
As a guild owner or administrator configuring DiscordBot. for your Discord server, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are the data controller for the personal data of your Discord server members that the bot processes on your behalf.
- You are responsible for ensuring your members are informed about how their data is processed (for example, through your own server rules or privacy notice).
- You are responsible for the configurations you create, including moderation rules, auto-mod settings, and membership triggers.
- You must not configure the bot to process data in a manner that violates applicable data protection law.
- You grant us a limited licence to process your server's data solely to provide the configured features.
8. Pro plan and billing
Subscription. The Pro plan is a paid monthly subscription. Pricing is displayed on the pricing page and at checkout. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
Payment processing. All payments are processed by Stripe Inc. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms. We do not store your payment card details.
Cancellation. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the dashboard. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current paid billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
Price changes. We may change Pro plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Free plan. The Free plan is provided without charge and without any service level commitments. We may modify free plan limits at any time.
9. Cancellation and refunds
General. Payments for completed billing periods are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
UK consumers - 14-day right to cancel. If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you have already used Pro features during that period, a pro-rata deduction for the value of service consumed may apply. To exercise this right, contact us at support@discordbot.co.uk.
Termination by us. If we terminate your account for breach of these terms, you are not entitled to a refund.
10. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the DiscordBot. platform - including the bot code, web dashboard, user interface, branding, and documentation - are owned by or licensed to DiscordBot. and are protected by applicable law. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you.
You retain ownership of all content and data you provide (your server configurations, moderation case notes, and other input). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, store, and process that content solely to provide the service.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will not be lost.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DiscordBot.'s total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DiscordBot. and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including Discord's Terms of Service; or (d) activities in or configurations applied to your Discord server.
14. Termination
By you. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time by removing the bot from your server and submitting a data deletion request to support@discordbot.co.uk.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service immediately if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, abused the service, or if required to do so by law. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice where practicable.
On termination, your Pro subscription (if any) is cancelled, access to Pro features ceases, and your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy retention schedule. Sections 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16 survive termination.
15. Third-party services
The service relies on Discord (required) and Stripe (payment processing). We are not responsible for the availability, actions, or content of those third-party services. Your use of Discord is subject to Discord's Terms of Service.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at support@discordbot.co.uk. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer based in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. For material changes we will provide at least 14 days' notice by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notifying you via the dashboard or email. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using the service before the effective date.
18. General
Entire agreement. These terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and DiscordBot. regarding the service and supersede all prior agreements.
Severability. If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
